Hany Zada, a member of Zamalek's board of directors, was amazed at how the clubs that would participate in the African Championships next season were chosen, despite the fact that the Egyptian League has not yet ended.

Hani Zada ​​told Ontime Sports 2: "We refused to complete the league and demanded to start a new season, and now we do not know how the FIFA will determine the qualified teams for Africa."

"Will they be chosen in a speculative way? The five-member committee has become in trouble, and we have warned about that more than once," he added.

He continued, "Al-Anad does not bequeath only infidelity, and the five-member committee insisted on holding the Al-Ahly February match despite the surrounding problems and now it is in a real crisis."

The CAF announced that the permitted period for registering clubs participating in the Champions League and Confederation Championships for the 2020/2021 season extends until 20 October.

He stressed, "3 points will not be deducted from Zamalek at the end of the season, for every recent event, and the five-year committee will suffer as a result of its stubbornness during the coming weeks, and we were led to watch."

"Zamalek completed what it is doing now completely for the African championship. Winning it guarantees that you qualify for the tournament and participate in the FIFA Clubs World Cup."

Regarding the FIFA penalty for Mahmoud Abdel Moneim "Kahraba", the Al-Ahly player, he said: "What we learned is that Kahraba filed an appeal against the punishment, and if that happens and it reaches us, we will calmly start studying the matter to make our decision, because here we are a reaction."
