Immigration: We strive to reintegrate workers coming from abroad in Egypt





Nabila Makram, Minister of Immigration, said that the state is making great efforts to return those stranded abroad, commissioned by the political leadership, in reference to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's statements that the Egyptian citizen comes on the list of state priorities regardless of material losses.


"Makram" added, in a phone call to the "Honorable Citizen" program broadcast on "Al-Hadath Al-Youm" satellite, this evening, Tuesday, that the state has returned more than 77,000 Egyptian workers from all over the world, pointing out that the state gives great importance to workers returning from countries Gulf.


She emphasized that the state did not only strive to return Egyptians stranded abroad, but to assimilate and reintegrate them inside their country, praising some examples of successful Egyptians abroad.


She indicated the implementation of the "enlighten your country" form; It is distributed to Egyptians in the university cities they live in, to collect data on them, in order to be able to help them, noting in coordination with the Ministry of Planning to analyze this data, to create job opportunities for them.


On Monday, Dr. Maya Morsi, President of the National Council for Women, received Ambassador Nabila Makram, Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptians Affairs Abroad, accompanied by a group of young Egyptians studying abroad. At the headquarters of the Council, with the aim of learning about the state's role in supporting Egyptian women's issues.
